1. Purpose
To describe the process of evaluation and selection of external provider in meeting and sustaining FAAS Quality services to the customer and compliance to the regulatory requirement.
2. Scope
- The procedure applies to any entity that intend to be or proposed to be an approved external provider.
- The regulatory compliance of respective external provider depends on to the regulatory compliance or governance of the end items where the parts or item is to be installed i.e. if it is installed on to an aviation end item, the external provider would be subjected to respective aviation regulation and/or guide line and if it is fitted to marine end item, the external provider will be governed to respective marine regulations. However if the external provider is having both of the capabilities then the highest / stringent regulatory compliances is to be applied.
